A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon parcels sourced from vineyards throughout the Barossa. The fruit is fermented for up to 14 days, then aged for 12 months in a mix of French and American oak. Individual parcels of fruit are matured separately to maximise the blend's complexity and finalised through a selection process. The resulting wine is rich and concentrated with aromas of ripe dark berry fruits, blackcurrants and plums with mint and varietal leafy notes. The palate is plush with flavours balanced by fine, textural tannins.

A selection of the Barossa's key growers, renowned for their quality and skill, have shared their passion and pristine fruit to create this quintessential Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon. Varying expressions of this classic varietal have been blended together seamlessly, delivering a complex and layered wine with fruit intensity and suppleness. Deep red in colour with a crimson hue, there are aromas of violet, plum and hints of spice and char leading to a rich and luscious palate with plush tannins, vibrant fruit flavour and depth from from American oak.

This is a wine of great intensity. It has distinctive blackcurrant and cassis fruit flavours. Subtle oak characters of cedar cigar box and spice are also evident. The tannins are fine and elegant - a hallmark of the varietal. The palate is well balanced, complex and fulfilling and lingers on the finish.
